Muppets

I don't understand. I really don't. How did the current cohort of contestants get into the final few for the Apprentice? What does this say about the people who didn't get through? Tonight's task was making cards for a new event. How we laughed at the obvious irony of the idea of wasting paper sending environmentally-friendly 'please be green' cards/sermons. How did a team of supposedly intelligent people not see that this was a truly bad idea? An alternative explanation of course is that they are intelligent and they are just keen on giving the others ropes to hang themselves. So the choice is between two possibilities: they are embarrassingly, offensively stupid or they habitually screw each other over. Either way, what a wonderful recommendation of the business world, eh? In the case of Jenny, I think the verdict is clear; after coming up with the ground-breaking concept in the first place, she then had the absence of mind to say that she is trying to be more environmentally friendly these days by sending less cards. I despair. I really do.
